As a DBA/SQL Server Specialist, you will be an essential part of our team and responsible for ensuring that our database environments are stable, secure, and optimized. You will work with the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of SQL Server while contributing to the development and improvement of our solutions. The role involves close collaboration with other technical functions and gives you the opportunity to influence both operations and development.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Installation, configuration, and patching of SQL Server environments

• Ensuring availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery

• Access control and implementation of security solutions

• Troubleshooting databases, agent jobs, data flows, and integrations

• Migration of databases and application data

• Performance optimization, including query tuning and index strategies

• Maintenance and troubleshooting of SSIS packages (SQL Server Integration Services)

• Minor adjustments and fixes in existing flows (SSIS)

Experience and skills:

• SQL Server (administration and development)

• T-SQL

• SSIS

• Database security and access controls

• Infrastructure understanding related to database operations

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Preferred if you have previously worked with

  • Oracle / GoldenGate

  • Shadowbase

  • BIML (Business Intelligence Markup Language)

  • Python and PowerShell
